question on clothes

i will be going somewhere on new years eve
i normally just wear workout pants and sweatshirts-but i cant cuz this is a nice restuarant

is this ok to wear?
blue jeans, blue and white sneakers, grey long sleeve tshirt from gap under a black polo shirt?

depends on how nice a restuarant, its probably better to be over dressed especially on new years eve. Nice jeans or even slacks, dress shoes, long sleeve button down shirt

or

you could do the whole jeans, graphic tee or polo and a blazer, sneakers or dress shoes...

dress the part though bro if its a nice restuarant you may feel uncomfortable but youd probably be more uncomfortable if you were told you didnt meet the dress code and couldnt eat there.

but yes you could do the graphic tee and jeans (good ones) but a fitted collared shirt, jeans and nice leather shoes would be classier

But if the restaurant isn't too fancy, you could wear this but maybe (or not) change the shoes to dress shoes and make sure your polo shirt is long sleeve too

its a steak house-not really fancy...just a nice semi classy place
