just searching for a reason and this is the only one that can cause it

i remember some time ago i had like one big mac and 3 hamburgers and went to the gym

did some deadlifts and set my belt pretty tight

i could feel the food getting squashed with the tightness of the belt

i usually never have a good training after mcdonalds, best workouts were after pasta or patatoes

is there any proof that tight belts can harm your stomack area?

could be serious: ulcer or cancer.

I doubt your belt could cause you severe pain like that.

I would go see a doctor asap

While it could be nothing, if the problem persists, you should certainly go get yourself checked with your local healthcare provider.

In particular, keep a vigilant eye out for such symptoms:

Abdominal cramps and/or pain
Rectal Bleed
Sudden weight loss

All could be signs of colorectal cancer and possibly even an ulcer or even a bleeding diverticuli.  If it's truly in your "stomach" and not in some portion of your intestines, you might be a candidate for an upper endoscopy and possibly a Colonoscopy if you show any of the other signs.

Stay Healthy,

ohh come on, any healthy individual could get crams from tighting the belt to the extreme.
i also get cramps if i smoke too much, sometimes from too much coffee.
i just want to know is it safe to tight up the belt for squads and deadlift, if its not tight enough there is no purpose wearing it at all, this got nothing to do with underlying health problems, cut it out already

I believe that Ronnie along with many other powerlifters/bodybuilders abdominal distention is due to the belt being way to tight causing distention in the upper ab reigon causing loss of lower core strengthing. JMO though  :-\

also GH helps too.

Everytime I hear about a bodybuilder having stomach problems, 5.5 times out of 10 it ends up being liver problems...Even though the liver is on the right side, it is common to have weird feelings all across the stomach...If you know that you aren't toxic in any way to the liver, then and only then would I look to other problems...

But if it is liver problems, don't sweat it to much...The liver is relentless in wanting to right itself...However it will take time...

get a velcro belt, you can adjust it exactly how you like instead of the huge gaps between the holes.

You don't have to wear belts as tight as you think to still get a benefit from them...
