Eating on the Run
« on: January 02, 2010, 07:47:00 AM »
I recently started this new job and I am worried about being able to keep my calorie intake high.  I work on a service truck now and I am constantly in the eye of the customer and my lunch break is constantly changing one day it was 12:30 then 2 and then the next day 11.  This really sucks because I am use to working in a stationary location with a cafeteria right at wok plus my own refrigerator.  I am planing on stocking my cooler with chicken breast and peanut butter sandwiches and more but I am thinking this is quite complicated.  I workout before I go to work about 4 times a week around 4:30 or 5 in the morning.  So I can ensure a high quality preworkout meal and a shake after and if I am lucky on the way in to work I can fix breakfast but the rest right now no guarantees. Any suggestions on how you guys do it?

Sure would be nice to have my old job back....

So, is your problem not having enough breaks to eat regularly?
If its so, then a simple solution that I've found works great is to eat fewer larger meals instead of your normal 5 or 6 smaller ones. That way you'll be getting the same calories and macronutrients during the course of the day. Which is all that matters anyway, what you get in during the whole day, not the numberof meals.

What is you're bodyfat percentage?

If you don't have a super fast metabolism it's likely you're overeating.

get Lean first and go from there
