the ladder can be used to grab the title-belt hung a considerable distance above the ring
cool thing about this would be is the opponent, if not KO'd, could be badly stunned enough to allow the other fighter time to get it.
example: when rashad did the chicken dance after thiago punched him, thiago could have taken that opportunity to climb the ladder and get a belt, had it been a title fight that is
i dont think the ladder could/should be used a weapon tho due to the athletic commission and government bodies that sanction these fights, maybe have it built directly into the center to avoid temptation
or better yet maybe overseas in japan it would be allowed
