Gym story: 50 yr old twink, crowded gym, PX90.....oh brother!

Most crowded section of gym dumbell section, , he hoards every dumbell from 5lbs-30lbs, dumbass pulls out his laptop, cranks up the PX90 cd, and starts grunting on very 1st rep of bicep curls! Others come up to grab a set of the said dumbells and he starts yelling at them! I thought this was a joke 'til I saw the intense stare and Under Armor logo! Had to be a GB'r....come on, fess up!

who gives a shit i dont use the 5's or 30's and if he yelled at me i would hit him in the head with his own db ;D

No its not, its 40 mins plus of exercise after exercise burning fat etc...by far the best program out there, with using limited equipment. 
Looks pretty good actually, better than going to a gym and doing 5 sets of bench in 1 hour like most fats do.

         at this point the lunk alarm went off and he was escorted out of planet fitness the no judge zone leaving the 10 lb dbs all for you. a happy ending, a good time was had by all.

One of my buddies who is a former bodybuilder is doing P90X now and loves it.  He has modified it a bit to incorporate more weight training.  It works well for him I must say.

Thats not the point.  The Tony Little Gazelle Glider will help you lose weight if you are consistant with it and diet properly.  Any exercise if done consistantly with good intesity will get you in shape with a good diet. 

The point it its not different than any other form of excercise mixed with good diet.  If people happen to enjoy this activity better than others then good for them, but its not like doing these particular workouts are going to give you results you can't get by doing anything else.

i've said it before and said it again- P90x is the watering down of the burpee/tabata culture that i have helped popularize on the internets .

the burpee/tabata culture is for the streets- not the suburbs
it's for free runners and badassess, not soccer moms and corporate executives
it's for people liked Muscle Media 2k when they still wrote about steroids and shit not the Muscle Media when Bill phillips decided to make it more yuppie friendly

Haha! Well, I left the gym before he finished his training, but someone may have had it out with him over those dumbells. The guy was clueless. He'll wash out in another month or so like many this time of year.
