Suspended for the rest of the season. Gilbert has looked at the whole situation as a joke! Gilbert has always seen himself as somewhat of a god. Gilbert must have never turned on one of his T.V.'S during the whole Plaxico situation.

I would've suspended him until after the all-star break, maybe more. But the rest of the year is fine, too.

Honestly he should be banned from the NBA so should the other fucktard that pulled a gun. That shit is absolutely outrageous that not only would these idiots bring guns into the locker room but pull the guns on each other. Anything other than a straight lifetime ban for both these hoodrats is letting them off easy.

One thing I will say about goodell is I do really like the way he handles disciplinary issues with NFL players. You have to have a standard of conduct and pulling a gun on a teammate in a locker room is stepping so far over the line is ridiculous.

Why is it when the gilbert admitted to the incidents weeks ago nothing happend?
forget the whole "letting local and federal enforcement finish the investigation" guns are banned on NBA property point blank, he was supposed to be suspended then and there,  yet the NBA and the wizards let him play...Gilbert most likely downplayed the incident cause he probably thought "fuck it, if its that serious they should have suspended me weeks ago"

I blame the NBA and Wizards cause they could of saved face weeks ago by suspending him, but they fucked up, his talking shit and making hand gun gestures.

The Wizards have now removed a huuugee poster of arenas from the stadium, why didnt they do that when he admitted to it..they caved in to the media pressure and so did stern..............the guy is a idiot and will lose a chunk of cash but the NBA and wizards are just as bad.
