if you have access to your edge device (router most prolly)

1) always check layer 2 > if your interface is up/down and they(ISP) r not providing clocking  its THEIR fault....just say " my layer 2 is down and i got no clocking"
2) in the case you r using PPP over the link > debug ppp authentication and see if there is an authentication faliure..tell them this (passwd mismatch etc)
3) in case you r also using frame-relay (and or PPP over frame) check LMI status....if u dont have LMIs its again their problem...if you r getting LMIs then check your PVC and see if they r active... (show frame pvc)

if, when you call you are specific about your issue they will respect you more and pay attention to what you have to say

its not even an option....

1 hr in the gym = 1 less hr worth of studying = around 50 technical pages i could read....in a week thats  350 pages and in 2 weeks that a a 900pg book i could almost finish memorizing 


its all good though....i really do enjoy this stuff....

ever since spell check ws invented there is no such thing as people that can spell and people that cant
spell . Only people that take the time to hit spell check and people that dont...(i actually cant....but thats besides the point...i made it a point never to learn since all the really smart people i knew in pakistan couldn't and i carried my inability to spell as a badge of honour)  (yes...its spelled with a U )
