smart man

Thanks bro. I just felt that the Bengals looked like hell in the regular season finale against the Jets(their starters played until mid 3rd Q) and  just didn't see how they were going to pull 180 degree turrn in one week.

Dallas is the hottest team in the playoffs right now. Their defense is on fire. They beat the Eagles twice already so a 3rd time seemed likely

Ravens just flat out beat the shit out of the Pats. We made them look old and slow.

Arizona rested everyone in the season finale and they were easily going to be a different team the following week.

Old and slow? You mean they exposed their rookies and inexperience because the Pats have an extremely young team. That said, the ravens were the better team on that day and thats the bottom line. Lets not go overboard here, though. The colts are going to beat the Ravens by 2 td's. The Ravens were one and six this year vs good to great teams. One game is an anomaly, not a trend. I'm, not tyring to discredit you or the ravens...I'm being realistic.

We'll see, won't we? Every team is 0-0 once the postseason starts. The Colts haven't played a meaningful game in almost 3 weeks. Starting 14-0 doesn't mean shit right now because it all comes down to the next game you play.

In the meantime, enjoy a pleasant cartoon about the Pats and Colts.

I could imagine baltimore running it down indys throats with that mediocre/undersized front 7. Who knows, honestly.

That's just the thing. When it comes to NFL playoffs, NOBODY knows, including Body88.(and me and everybody else, for that matter)

That's why they play the game.

It's cool buddy, I'm just calling it like I see it. The Pats are a very young team and I expected them to struggle this year in the playoffs. The Ravens beat em like a drum, there is no doubt about it. As I said -10 and 6 and an AFC title ain't bad for a transition year. I'm content.

As for the ravens, I'm just going on the information I have in front of me. This year, the Ravens lost five out of six games to winning teams. They played their best game of the year last week and might have to deal with a colts team that is unstopable when they are on. I think the COlts beat the Ravens by 14 points if they play. I could be wrong, it sure as hell wouldn't be the first time.

It won't matter, imo. Miami ran it down their throats when they played and the colts scored every time they had the ball and won the game. This is not a defensive league anymore. The colts will destroy the ravens secondary, and they won't get pressure, because that's something the Ravens have had trouble with and the colts have BY FAR the best offensive line in football. They allowed 10 sacks all season. I could be wrong, but with the information I have in front of me, that's how I see it going down if they play.

And not get to him, just like every other team who has blitzed him this year, and gets scorched in the process. The colts O line is the best in the NFL, and manning can read a D like a freaking computer. The Ravens must generate pressure with 4 men, because if they leave their corners on an island they will get lite up and if they Blitz and don't get it, it's 7 points per miss.

100% right.

Peyton Manning doesn't get sacked. PERIOD.

But the Ravens played them very close back in November. Personally, as a biased fan, they should have won that game. They picked off Manning twice in that game and missed a field goal. They only lost by 2 points.

Ed Reed has a knack for making plays on Manning. The Ravens will be using a lot of 3 man front with the middle LB's blitzing on the inside. That's how they got to Brady.

It's not always about the sacks. QB pressures are almost just as important because you can force incomplete passes and possibly turnovers. Manning doesn't have the best playoff record among active QB's in the NFL.

Nothig you said is wrong. Just offering my opinion. Trust me bud, I would be happy for you if the ravens won it. Meriweather made the probowl this year. he says Ed Reed is his idol.

eh, wasnt that the first game of the season? Little different setting in january. I think the colts will pound the ball more.

looking at the colts schedule, its easy to understand why they only gave up 10 sacks. I'm not putting much stock in to that stat, or any stat for that matter at this time of the year.

It would be nice if they pulled the upset. They managed to exercise one demon in beating the Patriots finally. Beating the Colts may be asking too much in one season but you never know. I'm hoping for the best.

When you see Ware tossing Manning around like a rag doll in February, you'll know why!
