ive seen Yates live a few times and this 1996 german gp condition is probably the best Yates ever.

super shredded and a little bigger and fuller than 1995 (i was at that one). look at the quads!

I wish I had seen Dorian in person. I attended the Mr.O from 02-06 and saw Ronnie, however. He was unimpressive in 02, but looked great in 03 and 04. In 05 and 06 Ronnie's left side was noticably smaller.

I agree that 96 was a great year for Dorian. His conditioning was spot on and he was huge -- not sure what happened to him in 97, although I still think he deserved the win.

he had injuries pre 97, had dieted hard and was in condition (more than good enough to win). funny thing is no one was complaining for mentioned his left triceps problem before, during or after the show.

Dorian's waist was extremely streamlined in 96, perhaps more than ever. His waist seemed to be the biggest difference between 96/97. I agree, his conditioning was still awesome in 97.

LOL its funny how you guys insist that someone with arms and quads that bad relative to Ronnie even stands a chance, especially given how ronnie also happens to have a better back, chest, hams etc.

Arms do not a physique make. Quads.. bigger true. unfortunatley they dwarf his calves fucking his legs up. Thanks for playing.

Dorians physique looks like everything is in almost perfect balance here, other bodybuilders of this size tend to look "freaky" but unnatural.

Dorian here looks like a how a normal human being should look, just bigger and ripped. An anatomy chart.

dorian's back looks very good in those shots.

very detailed.

but as always, sorely lacking Ronnie's thickness.

his back in those shots is like Flex's : super detail, but thin and shallow looking.

ronnie's back is much more impressive. has great detail, but also great thickness.

especially in the lats. look at the comparison that rocketbitch posted. ronnie's lats are so much thicker than dorian's paper thin looking lats its not even funny. and dorian's poor arms really hurt him in the post against Ronnie.
