I hate training light, tried it for a month hated it. I simply love to train heavy with low reps. I train only 3 days week with heavy heavy basic barbell/dumbbell movements. I want to train heavy every workout like this. The expert says I should go light ever other week to save my joints. I simply hate the lighter training, I'm never gonna be a pretty boy with abs, I'm a permabulker foreverrrr. Any other thoughts on this all the time heavy training?
i never took light days (workouts, not maxipads) and now i'm half crippled.
Pleaaze, it not like you even have a cock!
heavy lifting works your nirvus system not your muscles...
You should always periodize your training.Going too heavy too often will result in injury or burnout.
i partially disagree, i push my limits every workout, very good form and heavy. when i see most of the natural lifters train like 4/5 times a week. then i think to myself how can they pull it off? i train one day on one day off.sometimes 1 day on 2 days off. my imuunsystem gets so beaten aftr a workout that i automatically burnout the next day if i try to train. there is no point in doing light workouts, you cant even maintain that way, better to rest fully and bang it out again. if you train more than 3/4 a week you train like a pussy in my book as natural, dont know about the juicers though
Lift as heavy as you want, the fuck what anyone else says.
What Wes is saying and what you're saying is not contradictory. You can "push" your limits with lighter weights if you know how to do it. Periodizing allows you to trigger different metabolic and hormonal responses. If you're natural, you will train less often when training heavy, that's obvious. I've seen guys who were pretty strong, that could bench around 450, squat and deadlift 550 and who could pre-exhaust with lighter weights and put themselves through incredible pain (and results) with 30/40% of their max.
