my wife took some for awhile (lexasil i think its called)
i dont think they really did anything and they cost a fortune
in my opinion anxiety just means you uncertain of yourself and weak minded individual

actually it is caused by serotonin imbalance....i have also had to take a lot of them...ask away...

For all of you who took/take them...

How long did you take them for and why did you quit?

Do you feel they had any benefit and help you get back to normal or a waste of money?

I had a cousin get suicidal on Lexapro, but she was pretty nuts her entire life.

i half agree with you....the majority of people on these meds shouldn't be on them....but their are a good chunk including myself that need to take them.......i have anxiety attacks unprovoked....i have had them since i was a little kid...sometimes i will just be driving and it happens...

bah....my grandfather stormed the beach of Normandy & didn't have as much anxiety as these slack jawed Fa##ots runnin around lookin for a pill to make it all better.....he put in a big wad of chew took a swig of some homemade shine and grabbed life by the balls....thats back when men were men before they became pussyfied

lexapro was the only one i have ever taken that actually works. the problem i have with lexapro is i stop caring about everything, and just want to have fun and party....i had a ex-girlfriend who took lexapro and went suicidal....she was to big of a damn loser to be successful though....

i had to stop taking them for about a year..no problems coming off..except a vitamin b deficiency...no withdraws or anything...but my attacks came back...

i don't need them...but they help me stay asleep instead of waking up due to anxiety attacks...

I used to take the anti anxiety meds  but hated the "hollow" feeling they gave you.  I took my last one about 4 or 5 years ago. Too addictive and to bleh.

i am in charge of my life..these meds have nothing to do with being sad or depressed....i can be walking, driving, sleeping it doesnt matter...i will break into a sweat, and feel like i am having a heart attack and can not breath......all un provoked......there are no triggers.. if have have never experienced this..you dont know what you are talking about..
