I have spent a lot of time working in both East and West Africa.
There is a lot of money around but some how the countries are still crap holes with so much poverty.
There is a "now" and "me" rip of mentality, always blaming the past, screwing the present and not caring about the future.
Everything is as inefficient as possible on purpose so that you must bribe every one to do their job (the infamous African bureaucracy)
What takes a morning else where can take a week in Tanzania because every one is so corrupt and full of shit.
Africa does not need more money it needs an attitude change.
