Ludvig Borga suicide....RIP

The Finnish tabloid newspaper, Ilta-Sanomat, is reporting that former WWE grappler Tony Halme (a/k/a Ludvig Borga) committed suicide using an illegally acquired firearm.

On Sunday, Halme was found dead in his apartment in Helsinki, Finland. He was 47 years old.

Tony did a lot in his lifetime: wrote books, did pro wrestling, boxing, mma, strongmen challenges, went into politics with a record breaking vote total etc. He was a nice guy and a friend of my father, i never met him, but both of my brothers did and said he was very cool and calm...

He had a few strokes and other health issues and he said it himself that his brains "are in and out" he also said (in an interview) that he was depressed and had been for a long time, so all in all not a big suprise, but very sad none the less.

Well i was a fan of his since the Finnish version of the "gladiators" where he was in his VIKING character... Tony was a fun guy, i remember like two weeks after he got elected he called our president Tarja Halonen "an old dirty lesbian." :D

I'm just a big hockey fan and my favourite NHL team is the Chicago Blackhawks, that's the reason for the avatar...

Thanks, I've been a member of getbig since early 2004, but I've been posting allmost exclusively in the steroids section...  ;D

Tony didn't even train properly against Randy, he was so convinced that he could beat him up by the shear size/power advantage and his boxing skills... I've even heard that he had a hangover going into that fight... (i dint know if that's true though), but i would not be surprised if it were, he didn't give randy any props and got choked pretty fast... :(

Lol...I was on there frequently too but once I got married in 2008 I tappered off and stopped all gear for good. Would rather spend that money elsewhere. It was good while it lasted but there are bigger fish for me to fry now with my coin.  :)
