Romper Stomper - good acting, great music, but that's it the plot is crap.

i clicked on this thread just to say that....it's a true story too.. i was flipping threw the channels a couple of years ago and stopped for a second..next thing i knew i was hooked and watched the whole damn movie, and bought it the next day...

i watched city of men a few weeks ago....very good flick...not as good as city of god though..

The first movie turned into a series which spanned several years, culminating in the release of the second and supposedly last movie. The same actors appeared as children in the first movie and matured throughout the tv series.

Great stuff.

no it wasn't as good as City of God. You know what's odd, there was very little nudity, very little showing of Brazilian asses...yet you didn't notice that until after the movie is over, and it still was a good movie (both of them)
