seriously though, it sucks. buildings collapse in haiti without earthquakes, thats how bad the building codes are (actually they are just not followed) - remember a few years ago a school collapsed out of the blue and many died..

given that it was a strong earthquake, its not surprising so many buildings are down.

A few of my friends on Facebook (yeah I know ) have all said the same thing.

HOWEVER...

They all happen to be of afro-carribbean descent - not one single white person has commented on it.

Would these blacks be commenting if the earthquake had happened in a predominantly white or better still, non black country? Countries like Iran and Turkey and South East Asia get natural disasters all the time - hell they even get them in the States.

But I don't hear them say shit when it happens elsewhere.
