yeah ok, i don't want to sound like a cagefighter, but that was hardly a "fight".  that looked more like a make out session.

as long as we're on topic, what's with the assholes who think that "come on bro" is a good way to fight?  when i fight (well, used to, before i turned 21), i'd try to pop the guy and beat the shit out of him as fast as i could.  i always went for the first shot, because one properly placed punch is all it usually takes.  i never got this phenomenon of talking to the guy you're about to fight.  you fight to win, not to setup a lifelong friendship.

you d be scared by the number of people who watch this and consider it as "valuable" enough life lessons to incorporate in their way of life and interacting with others. Just think about the number of young men who have a weak/lacking/absent father figure, who dont know how to act with girls/ women, and are looking for answers they dont find anywhere else but on TV... These people are also less and less prone to read and learn , they re more and more superficial and eager to find quick answers/fixes for everything they dont understand in their own feelings or those of others they interact with on a daily basis.
I see 50 y/o people with balding, white hairs, start to lift weights in their garages and connect to the internet to watch porn, etc, with a wife and teens.
Too much communication kills communication. Too much communication used for the sole purpose to SELL easy to watch/absorb crap = massive and unprecendented debilitation of people 24/7 365 days a year. There has to be a middle between totalitarism, aurotitarism, and complete anarchy , that are both extremes only leading people to more suffering. The world went from boring, harsh and stupid mechanical, to an utopical materialistic anarchy where everyone wants everything right now-and can get it- yet is deeply unhappy and unfulfilled.

come on man, there were shows where women were treated like shit when i was growing up too.  i still shit my pants before i hit on a girl for the first time.  my plan was to walk up to her and say "hey girl, meet me at the mall on saturday around noon, we're going to a movie" (and then i was somehow gonna slap her if she said no).   in reality, i walked up to her, said "hi" with a cracked voice and she laughed at me.

If I were to critique his performance during that scenario, I'd say he's not a "fighter" He's just a sensitive guy that will stand up for himself which is fine and how you'd want your child and/or little brother...etc to be basically. Not a push over basically.

Honestly I don't follow the MMA stuff too closely (hetero) but that's how the fight came off looking to me...look that dude was nuts talking shit to a guy looking like Ronnie and Ronnie still knew he could take him and he did.  That dude got fucked up, I don't think they tried showing the real damage Ronnie did to him so as to keep Ronnie from looking like a savage...Ronnie had that black eye afterwards but they never even really showed the other guy after they broke them up.

Even though i started the thread i knew Mike and Ronnie were juicing, and definately dieted hard for the show. People look at Mike's size and say no way but the face bloat and the look to the muscles = definately juicing. Just cause he's small means nothing.

I live near the Jersey Shore and about 15 minutes from where this show was filmed.  First off the cast of the show are not from Jersey except for one.  True, Italians guys and girls flood the shore during the summer but I have never seen a more uglier group of people than this cast.  Hit the various broadwalks from Belmar down to Seaside where this show is filmed and you will see plenty of girls that will remind you that these girls on that show are skanks.   This is not a representative of what the great Jersey shore is about. The Jersey shore is the best kept secret in the country. I've been to California and Florida beaches.  They can't compare.
