I am so fucking sick of Frank Mir and his mouth. He gets a lucky W over Nog and then gets punched into custard by Brock Lesnar and follows that up with a victory over Congo-- a one dimensional fighter who could get submitted by a 7th grader in kiddie kwon do learning how to properly execute a headlock.
Mir is just jealous because Fedor buried a previously undefeated superheavyweight while Mir ( who outweighs Fedor by at least 25 pounds) looked like a rag doll against Lesnar. His comments are out of pure jealousy. He couldn't pull another bullshit heel hook off against Brock so naturally he laid on the ground like a corpse while Brock beat him to a pulp. Fedor appeared to be in trouble while a much bigger man had him flat on his back, not unlike Mir. Fedor recovered, picked his spot and knocked Rodgers out. For all this talk about Mir's great ground game, he looked like a total chump against Brock.
Furthermore, who is Mir to judge Rodgers? I am assuming Mir considers Brock a top 10 HW-- after a total of 4 fights. Rodgers has 11 and is 10-1. His only loss coming against someone who hasn't lost a fight in a decade.
Secondly, WTF does Mir know about fighting guys who are bigger? In his whole career I have seen him get destroyed by a smaller Brandon Vera, I saw him arm bar human punching bag Tim Sylvia and I watched Lesnar rape him on PPV. In almost every single fight Fedor has ever fought at HW, he has been smaller than the other guy and the result has always been the same.
