powders loose the necesary enzymes

there is absolutely no comparison between red fresh meat and a powder when it comes to building muscle and blood

Fish oil capsules, Multi vitamin & mineral tablets, Glucosamine Condroitin, I would not necessarily call bodybuilding supplements (for improving body composition). Protein powder is a food replacement. Creatine I agree with, NO supps not.

What is in Animal Pak?

You say "NO supps not". Have you tried them at all?

I have and they're OK for a pre-workout boost. I've had other people say the same, although the response seems to vary like most things.

L Glutamine is good too, although you have to take around 20 g of it everyday to feel the difference and that makes it fairly expensive.

Not sure what's in Animal Pak. A mate of mine is a distributor and he sold me a couple of those for a low price. I did notice some improved recovery and a little increase in strength, but didn't continue using it cause I didn't think it was worth the cost (~ $120 / month).

I've tried a few NO supps (obviously not all of them). Couldn't detect a difference for body composition. But more importantly, I don't know of any studies proving such a difference. Same with L-Glutamine (on top of adequate protein intake). If you say you did detect a difference, it's hard to argue against that of course.

Wave, don't even bother with this low life. He's a weak minded moron who has been brain washed by an admitted child molester leading some obscure cult that nobody cares about except for hollow, vapid, lost souls looking for someone to tell them what to do.

He's nowhere near your level and not to be bother with.

I think with the pre workout stuff it helps you to train harder which in turn should stimulate more lean tissue if you are taking in quality and correct nutrients etc.

Taking them on there own and not training wont effect body comp only drugs do this.

Glutamine I found helps when dieting , you dont feel run down but as kiwi said dose needed makes it pricey.

Spot on, esp. with the pre workout stuff helping you to lift harder. That's getting your money's worth as far as I'm concerned.

x2 Anything that can give you a bit extra zing in the gym is well worth it..theres some quality stuff out there that does exactly the same as the overhyped/priced stuff like muscletech,BSN etc and doesnt break the bank account to much.

IMHO you can add 200 mg caffeine to dextrose and you'll be like : " this shit rocks preworkout !! "

Most supplements are considered effective by people who either don't have acces to proper food or just like to eat junk all the time better than eating the required healthy stuff you need to get those vitamins and minerals. Glutamine, creatine and the few other stuff that work are just like protein powder: it's easier and faster to get as a supplement than to get through normal nutrition but most likely less efficient. Supp companies prosper on the fact that nobody wants to manage the headache of eating accordingly to their needs.

I also experienced the stimulation, probably mostly because of the caffeine. I didn't lift more weight because of it though. Additional glutamine never did anything for me.

like ingesting a scoop of 24 grams of "proteins" equals ingesting 24 grams of proteins coming from steack, chicken, tuna, eggs....

Once the amino acids are in your blood stream what's the difference? And if you for example bought whole egg powder (which is available) what's the difference? If you think casein or whey protein powder doesn't "work" then you're saying milk doesn't "work".

In some settings isolated amino acids are more efficient than whole foods. They are used as foods in hospital setting. As are MRPs made with whey, hydrolyzed collagen, etc.

They are food. They will provide protein and the protein will do what protein does. This is not to say meat for example doesn't contain important and beneficial nutrients not found in milk byproducts.

Nope. Not even close. He usually puts up a brief fight and then runs aways to start another thread. Easily confirmed by the feed back. He's a fraud and 95% of the board realizes it.

Actually, every time you stick up for him I'm laughing at you.

remember when you got your panties in a bunch when all the Y boarders were picking on you ???
when you let it slide and posted your pics with the funny comments they all left you alone.
