The purpose of the cruise is a cruise. One which will bring together people who share a common interest.
One can engage in casual sex with strangers anywhere... you don't need to sail on a cruise to do that.

I disagree, the not so hidden agenda of this cruise is enabling younger men and older women to hook up. Being on the cruise would likely mean you'd end up with a: more attention of the other demographic, b: the misconception that being on the cruise is also an affirmation of the hook-up agenda. I can fully understand that Stella does not want to embark on a cruise where instead of a cruise the rest of the ship has sex on their mind.
