What do you consider to be short?

What height for a man is considered short? Anything less than 5-8'?? Anything less than 5-10'?

Short is someone below the average height.

Our average height has changed over the years (we were much shorter back then)

Apparently the average height of a british man back in the 17th century was around 5' 6", so anything shorter than that would be considered short back then. If you were 6' you would probably be considered tall back then as well.

The average height for an early 17th-century English man was approximately 5’ 6".
For 17th-century English women, it was about 5’ ½".
While average heights in England remained virtually unchanged in the 17th and 18th centuries, American colonists grew taller.
Averages for modern Americans are just over 5’ 9" for men, and about 5’ 3 ¾" for women.
The main reasons for this difference are improved nutrition, notably increased consumption of meat and milk, and antibiotics.

Modern World
A study published in Britain in 1988, using data compiled from 1981, determined that the average height in the modern British population was 173.8 cm. [67.78 inches or 5’ 7 ¾"] for males and 160.9 cm. [62.75 inches or 5’ 2 ¾"] for females.

For modern white Americans, the average stature for males is 69.1", or just over 5’ 9", and for women, 63.7", or about 5’ 3 ¾".

So for Modern white Americans, anything below 5'9" would be considered short, but back in 17th century-Britain 5'9" would be considered tall.

Those british statistics have been updated since 1988. 5'9" average for British males, and i think it's 5'4" for women.

I'm 5'11", i consider anything less than 5'8" for a man to be short. So pretty much 90% of pro bbs. Women's heights don't concern me.

5'7" and under is considered short 5'8" - 6'1" is considered medium and 6'2" and over is considered tall ( for men )

5'9 is the average. Anyone below average is short.

The seriously short guys are creepy and I'm certain it's a warning from the universe, LOL! Short women are fine, to a point, but once someone hits a certain point below eye level I have an almost impossible time trusting them. Doctors are still people, FFS. Don't ever get me going on fat fucks because I've only come to see them as job security.

I am 5 8 and this is short, though I am still able to reach most things in the supermarket  :D
It also depends on your proportions.
