JNN, no need to say "Fuck Him" when all you got to do is get into the best shape possible before this summer comes and goes and merely contact Bill Comstock or any of the other fitness/bodybuilding photographers who have access to the editorial staff of the national magazines.
I've yet to meet any of those top photographers who have enough dependable and in shape guys and gals to shoot.
Shooting photos in the local motels sure ain't gonna help you in this industry.
If you look as decent as this model (see above) you'll have no problem getting shot by a renown photographer.
Believe it or not - but even Herb Ritts had some difficulty finding 'volunteers' to shoot in some of his photos you may be familiar with. I recommended my nephew (a gymnast at the time) and he ended up as a model for some major international ads such as Levis and several men's calogne.
It's just a matter of looking your best and get your photos out there.... but you also have to be ready to shoot at precisely the time you're needed which could mean ... Can you show up within the hour?
That request was even used for bit parts in Eraser and for some Janet Jackson videos in the desert and when some one needed a "Merman" for Madonna.
You gotta be known, reliable, and available and then you'll be called by the best of the "bestest"!

i'm actually shooting again for Playgirl in May with a Photog named Jeff Lehrer (i didn't mean to name drop, btw). I'm gonna use those shots to shop around to guys like Bill Comstock as i'm familiar with his work

maybe for a female but for me, I stuck with more "ethnic" names
"Rico" was perfect and hopefully i can use it again
how i got to "julian" i'll never know
actually, "Julian" is a homage to Richard Gere's Character in "american Gigolo" and the actor Julian McMahon from "Nip/Tuck"
