I went with my buddy in 97' The last year that it was held because of all the violence. A black guy asked me, "What do you think you are doing here?" I went with a black buddy but i enjoyed the violence. 
Ive always wanted to go. Had a friend who went in 97. There wasn't much violence where he went, but a lot of freakin! But, he caught on camera a chick being practically molested on top of a Land Cruiser. It was sad, some dudes ripped her shirt off and pulled her off. There was a crowd around her. When I saw the pics, I felt bad for her, that was fuckin disrespect. My room mate on the otherhand, was like "yeah that's what she gets!" needless to say, he was having a hard time getting females. Also had a female friend who went to Spelman, told me the same thing (about the violence). But apparently many people say the Land Cruiser incident.
Btw, those two chicks (one needs to shave) were not indicative of the women there.
