How should Sun Tzu's philosophies be applied to your customers? 

Such as "When weak, appear strong, when strong appear weak"?  Or are these rules specifically limited to enemies or competitors?

his philosphies still apply here.  If you are a weak seller, customers will push you harder and demand more and if you are weak then they win.  Opposite is true as well.  if you know your position and can feign them into your trap then all the better.

you sell a lot more when you don't NEED to sell.

your attitude, speed of response, quiver in your voice, are all obvious.

When you need a sale or you ain't making rent, you are likely to rush things just a little, and a shrewd buyer will pick up on that.
