
Damn, that’s a tough call.
Bush wasn’t the greatest to begin with, but it took over 1 full term for the shit to snowball to the point where many people would unconditionally vote for anyone – including a muslim of questionable U.S. citizenship – over anybody the Repubs ran.
Bush = more than 1 full term to be labeled “gone down as the worst president in history.”
Obama = less than 1 year in office to achieve the same label.
One other difference is that I know many Bush supporters who agree
(rightfully so) that he
really blew it – especially towards the end. However, none have ever claimed they regretted voting for him, but that could be down to his opposition at the time.
On the flip side - outside of a few folks on here, most people I know who voted for Obama in ’09 has said they regret their decision.
