There are two videos at MD magazine. Goodrum and Guns were sponsored by Alri and they paid the fare to Vegas plus they got some reward for the posedown that Guns won. Guns got his blue stars but Goodrum was 'overlooked'. Ron refuses to accept that Goodrum is a competing bodybuilder. The evidence clearly shows otherwise.

It was just a paycheck and a free expenses paid trip to Vegas.  If I wasn't paid, I would not have gone that year.  Got laid off Alltel only 2 months earlier so I didn't really have the cash to go anywhere for that matter.  

People can say what they want but I got paid for my antics and others are jealous they were never asked to do it.  But that was over 2 years ago so its not really relevant just like the 1970 Mr Canada
