so listen. Ive been sittin here for hours thinking.  And I dont really give a damn about slacker or our situation on getbig, its the internet.  What i give a damn about is that some cop gave out my criminal record to a member of the public.  And the thing is that is ultra easy to find out through a lawyer because they would just have to find out who did the last search on my name in the database.  I'm having a hard time letting go that some cop is tossing out my info to some random person.

you absolutely do have a leg to stand on. a criminal record can only be disclosed with the consent of the individual in Canada, so this is a serious breach of policy. in fact, you may be able to damage the career of the officer who gave out your information, which is certainly something i would take pleasure in were i in your position.

Yeah thats BS if you can prove it. Its nearly impossible to implicate a officer unless you have it on camera. Even then its a battle.

The more you deal with cops you will realize not all of them are bad. Some of them are just collecting a pay check and like to get along with people. But some have some serious issues and thrive on ruining peoples lives. Those are the ones to watch out for.
