The more you deal with cops you will realize not all of them are bad. Some of them are just collecting a pay check and like to get along with people. But some have some serious issues and thrive on ruining peoples lives. Those are the ones to watch out for.

I would say even most belong to the former category. Moreover, in this day and age where everything is recorded and nothing forgotten, the latter category are a dying breed.

It's all good and you think they might be alright until you're in court and their statement is in black and white saying shit that didn't happen, and the prosecutor is making you sound like a real asshole. he gets the pleasure of phoning up cops in sydney who are on compo (leave with pay for stress or other such BS) and telling them their perks have been cut or reduced or that the insurer (it is now a private firm versus the govt one previously) has stopped their payments entirely.

you absolutely do have a leg to stand on. a criminal record can only be disclosed with the consent of the individual in Canada, so this is a serious breach of policy. in fact, you may be able to damage the career of the officer who gave out your information, which is certainly something i would take pleasure in were i in your position.

Obviously I have a lawyer because of my past who I can phone.

under normal circumstances you would be right. However I told you not to fuck with me.  I told you I was connected and you didnt listen. You can pursue me/this on any level you choose.    If I was you I would stop talking about it and let it go.   If you push it you might end up back in prison and since you have already been convicted of uttering death threats I dont think the judge will be so nice this time.
