Snow mobile???

Im looking for a used snowmobile.  Any one got any suggestions. I use to have a arctic cat thunder cat.  I bought it used and it was highly modded.  I am looking for something that is light enough to throw around and do a little ditch banging.

Arctic Cat F7 if you like two strokes.

Yamaha RX1 (1000cc R1 motor) or one of it many variants if you like 4 stokes and minimal maintenance headaches.

Ski-Doo still makes bad-ass sleds too although the new riding position they intro'd a few years ago in the MXZ line is a big change from the old school Thundercat riding position you are used to.  The F7 used is probably the best bang for the buck sled you could pick up for cheap money and it is the more traditional riding position as well.

I actually got my old sled on a trade so I didnt really have much choice.   I did test drive a mxz X 440 it was a little under powered.  I heard good things about the F7 and I was looking at a Tony Stewart Edition It had a lot of kms on it but it looks mint.  He is asking 5500 canadian and considering its late in the year I can most likely get a better deal

440 race sleds are cool and out of the ordinary but if you are in Canada you should get a big bore just because your riding areas are so wide open.  The F7 is a lot of sled but the fit and finish on the Cats (and Polaris sleds too) is definitely a step or two behind Bombardier and Yamaha.  The Cats have a cool raw performance edge though.  I owned sleds from all the companies besides Polaris and liked them all for different reasons.  If you are in a high mile wide open riding area I would check out the Yam 4 strokes....not the best ditch bangers but dead reliable and fast plus less wasted money in expensive two-stroke oil.  I thought 4 stroke sleds would suck until I rode one of the R1 based Yamahas - was a rocket.

yes and no.  I found one and then the dealer and a few others encouraged me to wait for the 2011 ford f450. The new engine is suppose to be alot better and I like the appearance of the 2011 also.   Im keeping my 08 450.  If I test drive the 2011 and I am not impressed then I will bargain the hell out of the dealer on a 2010.     My truck is still warranted until 300km  So I have no worries.

Why are you hating.  I didnt read all the rules when I joined here ten years ago but I dont remember any rules about having to be broke or unemployed.

Oh for the record my 08 f450 King ranch set me back about 90g after tax. Its loaded with 6 disc, nav, rear slider and moon roof.  Its a crew cab with the chrome package and the 19.5 inch wheels.  I have since added a tuner exhaust and intake.  Makes 600rwhp and 1200 torque and gets 20mpg

Do your research its common knowledge the tune is what gives me the mileage,  And the removal of the DPF made the biggest difference

I have a 53 foot enclosed race car trailer. Also I have a couple of JCB back hoes and few skid steers. Mostly construction equipment.

I can fit two cars in it. and my gold cart and quad.   Its a bare bones trailer.  I just wanted something to keep the cars secure and dry.  My old place didnt have nearly the shop space that I have now, So I would keep my car in the trailer all winter.

I race for fun. I never compete.  It cost way to much.  I use to street race back when I lived in new york. I havent had the car to the track since 2003

I was spending 2g every weekend at one time and I decided that unless I was going to compete it wasnt worth it anymore.  I also use the trailer for my construction business. Its makes a great lunch room and place to get out of the sun. Also set up table saws and such in there.  I have my company name on the side so it doubles as a mobile advertisement.

I did all my racing when I lived in new york.  I went to englishtown drag park

fuel to get there and home 100 bucks
tires every other weekend  500 bucks
broken parts and pieces  500 a week
entrance fees and hotels 500 a week etc etc 

it adds up really fast.  Plus at that time there wasnt alot of after  market for my car so I was a guinea pig that year.  I broke more axles and trannys than anyone I knew at the time.

 I don't understand.  I thought you were ultra rich.  you can afford to open a gym for free but you can't afford a new snowmobile and you complain about costs.  If you are going to continue to bullshit here try to keep it straight.  You are embarassing yourself.
