Does anyone make their own gear?
« on: January 30, 2010, 05:31:13 PM »
Has anyone here made their own gear using the raw powders?  If so, how difficult was it and how did it compare to other vet or human grade gear you've used?

I personally do not know anybody who has but i have researched it and it does not look too difficult....however once you actually try it who knows how hard it is.  i will tell you this.....i am careful about what I put into body and guys with PHDs that you picked on in high school make the stuff.....If i made my own I would at least have it tested but that would cost a lot of money and i do not trust the raw Asian powders they could have trace elements in them.  if i was making my own brew I would have to be selling it b/c if it was just for me it would not be cost effective as compared to getting HG gear.  But i am sure there are some guys who make their own brew and it works fine, this is just my opinion.  I am not a chemist.....people goto school for 8 years plus to do what your talking about.

I made ecstasy in college.  It was real complicated and being clean was important.  We had  full step by step guide that we followed and did it in the science lab.  Shit was awesome.

Try some of that good old fashion he riped me off btl that nothin but oil if lucky sterile plain oil...or underdosed and expect for each diff label prod to be all in the same.. If someone knws to brew a good glass of dark ale, then you will never know about it...

Due to budgetary constraints, most of my gear is now brewed by yours truly.  Simple as pie.  Find a reputable powder source.  Dissolve the powder in appropriate amount of benzyl alcohol and benzyl benzoate (solvents), add your sterile carrier (oil, ethyl oleate), sterilize if you want(30min at 200deg in the oven, 30min in freezer repeat 3x), use a sterile syringe filter and filter into sterile vial. Voila.

I consider sterilizing the mixture as optional because the benzyl alcohol will do that for you if you give it some time (i.e., don't make it and shoot, let it sit for a week).
