My own personal opinion is that everyone's gonna use it as a mobile computer in their car.

IMO first gen, only chicks and fanboys are going to buy this pos. Then someone will jailbreak/root it, stick osx or flash on it, then the geeks will buy it.

The whole Apple thing is just right over my head. Got a Blackberry, a netbook and Sony do just as nice screens. Every time I look at Apple computers they look overpriced and under-specced...

 What am I missing and do I need Apple products in my life?

Maybe..but email is better on Blackberry and mine has a real qwerty keypad.

no, not really. Email works great on the iphone. Plus if i lose my iphone, i can track it online, send alerts and texts to the iphone, even lock it or erase it online. ;)


malware isn't a draw, not even close. PCs are the most used OS so people write malware for them.

Oh and Gracie I just checked Google Voice today and you have to have an invite to use it.  Did you get one yet?
