When I hear '1776', I don't think of "senate and house power shift like we've seen in 94 and befoer".... i think of bigger things.  If you only meant "people vote differently", then I apologize for mischaracterizing your position :)

Only the govt that he decides on Adonis.  You see he doesn't even support democracy.  He believes it only allows the poor to steal from the rich.  He's posted regarding this before.

Go read the constitution of the USA for a start TA.  I know as a lib it is meaningless to you, but people far more intelligent, wise, well read, far thinking, and considerate of history came up with that document.

So you want to go back to what the Founders intended to where the people do not get to Vote for their President, just their legislators? Or did you not know that this is what the Founders intended?  They never intended to concentrate the power with the people, to do so would be socialism.

It may not be a pure democracy but it's leader is elected via democratic process.  You would like this to be taken from people so you can fulfil your fantasy of having a fiefdom

Yeah, you caught me, I want the oligarchy of GS, AL Gore, EPA, NEA, Sierra Club, AFT, AFL/CIO/, ACORN and everyone else making laws and dictating policies for me.
