What Percentage of IFBB Pros Use Steroids?

Is it impossible to be an IFBB pro without the use of drugs?

My son wants to be a bodybuilder when he grows up and I'm afraid to tell him that all the pros are drug addicts.  I don't want my son to use drugs.

only about 100 percent use drugs since the dawn of time or the 1965 inagural mister olympia.

I'm hoping Bob Chick would answer because I'm showing my son this thread once he does.  My son post on the teen section of Bodybuilding.com and I don't want him to start using steroids.  I want Chick to say that steroids are drugs and are bad for your health.

"What Percentage of IFBB Pros Use Steroids?"  -  All of them.  You can't make it to IFBB pro level and not use steroids, GH or other sorts of drugs.

you can't be a pro without drugs, yes you can get big (but you'll be high bodyfat)

For figure competitors my guesstimate would be 95%. I know of 1girl who did the Arnold last year who was not on steroids or anti-e's.


Fitness: 95% I know of 2 girls who did the Arnold last year who were not on steroids but one was on anti-e.

Female bbing- 100%

Male bbing: 100%
