Ahhh... I remember getting over that hump.. there's a few tricks.. it takes a lot less to get over it then you think, you have to grip the string hard enough to make a clean sound when you pluck it with your right hand, you don't need to hold it any harder, pick a really simple song you like (ideally ACDC or something) and just practice those 3 chords over and over, if you can do it for a couple of days you will get over the hump.

LOL...Once you know one ACDC song you know them all.

Hey Cap  do you use Guitar Rig?  That is one add on that just kicks ass by itself or using it as a plug in with Sonar or whatever you use.  I highly recommend it.

That was kind of what I meant for Groink, if he learns 3-4 basic chords he will not only get his fingering down but also be able to play thousands of classic rock songs that's how I started out on the guitar, once you know A, C, D, E , G you're pretty much set

As far as guitar rig.. Sometimes, but I have a lot of high end gear I spent wayyy too much on, so if I want to play through an ENGL or Mesa Boogie I just play the real thing... I do use it ocasionally though if I'm too lazy to re-amp or it's 3 am and I'm bored recording in my home studio, also use amplitube sometimes  pro tools has some great plugins as well, I only really use pro tools and cubase but when I was younger I went through most of the recording software out there.

Got a post from Lars/Metallica.  He wants the band to join in an International Music Competition.  Only 200 bands worldwide have been chosen & hello, Lucid Delusion is one of them.  We will be going to Europe in a few months.  And?

Jade, do you suffer from some form of extreme insecurity?...or low self-esteem....a need for attention and recognition?  You strike me as someone in the early stages of Bethany Howlett syndrome.....you don't seem to grasp reality.....this band.....i wont say they're terrible, but they are terribly ordinary....they just do not have the talent to make it.....some songs are just painful.....

Therein lies the tragedy of Lucid Delusion.

Not only is their music horribly dated, but they're not as good as any of the bands who played this type of music when it was popular.
