Yup, especially in comparison to someone of your size.  Its always been so, but you get used to it.  If my IQ were taken into account, I reckon I'd be at least 5'2".  ;D ;D ;D
To my credit, I have a sense of humor about it.  Its best as there really is nothing I can do about it.  The Sportster Low is a new model I sat on but man is it heavy for me.  I know...short and weak.   ;D Thanks for recommendations on mods.  I appreciate it.

Not like I work for Suzuki or anything  ;D, but the Suzuki Boulevard/Savage is surprisingly small, and light.

Actually, the chrome on a Harley is of high quality and its chromed metal, not plastic.  That may be why the Sportster seems so heavy.  Nah!  I'm just relatively weak.   ;D

Sweet.  Thanks again!

Might as well build ground up custom, get yourself a frame that fits you or you won't be happy with it.

Ever notice how the crotch rocket crowd gets all up in arms whenever Harleys are talked about?  ;)

Unfortunately, I am a "geezer".  Not a fag though.  Yuck!

That bike you put up looks way too big/tall for me.  I'm not all that tall you know.  I was researching a new bike from Aprilia but its not available yet.  Its a 125 and is coming to America later this year.  Thought about a scooter but not too sure.  The Aprilia looks fast but being a 125 it should be manageable for someone like me.  I do like that Suzuki Savage and will have a look at them later.  Different style bikes I know, but I am just going to ride around town and maybe on the freeway a bit.  Talking a course from the MSF should help me out and they said they have small bikes for us to use.

Other than the weight, I would really like a Sportster.  I just worry about dropping it and being unable to pick it up.  The next thing would be a woman would come over and lift it like it was nothing.   ;D  Ouch! ;)

I have 3 :

Harley Davidson springer soft tail : for taking trips to the bar on friday night, and starbucks on sunday morning, revving the engine as I back into the parking space of course

BMW RT1100 : Don't use it much because the punks on the crotch rockets called me an old man.

Honda CBR 954 RR  :  for when I go to bike night just to prove to the kids I'm still cool, no gear needed, but ICON helmet with mohawk -mandatory
