LFZ . . . Lat Free Zone.

To even suggest this guy as a pro level back is foolish. And his calves are sub-par.

THE BEEF
His back is better than the current Mr. Olympia, Nasser's, and a boatload of other "Pros".

I was waiting for you to say that word "inner" chest....

Droppingplates and Sibil: the whole dutch community should be attacking you for mentioning the word "inner chest"
Milos, Charles Glass and Chris Thib got ridiculed for years for saying "inner chest", but the dutch internet guys know that that doesn't exist in science.

Some words of advise for Sibil, Milos, Charles and Christian, now that supertrainer oma is also using "inner" chest exercises, people?

Anatomy-wise I agree that there isn't something like a "inner chest" muscle, but only the Pectoralis Major & Minor. But from my own experience I can tell you that performing a press or fly with a lockout wider than the delts results in more pain in the outer zone (pec minor) while a machine flye, small grip barbell/dumbell/cable press with a lockout above the center of the chest results in more pain in the inner area of the chest.

BTW, I have no connections with the Dutch BB community since thats full of trash people  ;)

Ever tried Thibs cable/dbell presses? Exercise C of all 3 schedules (especially C from the first schedule):
http://www.tmuscle.com/free_online_article/sports_body_training_performance/hss100_chest_specialization

Oma, ideetje voor Roelly?

Hey, thats a interesting one. An exercise like this could give gravity(dumbells) & a squeeze effect(cables). T-nation has a lot of interesting articles, haven't been there for a while.

Haha, not all are bad.

What gets to me is that when Milos, Charles Glass, Chris Thib or somebody else writes/speaks about inner chest they want to see a source and proof it and this and that and they come with 200 research documents to proof their point that it's not possible.
But when one of their gurus (Rinus, oma) brings forward a giant like Roelly then the same inner chest exercise is gold!!

Because the weight of the cables keep pulling your arms outward your pecs are tensed all the time, no time/position to rest/relax on the top of the movement.
It's a killer for true!

And his calves are sub-par.

Calves subpar? Ronnie Coleman won 8 Sandows with worse calves then Roelly and Dex won 1 Sandow.  JOJ won some pro shows and so did Melvin Anthony and Dennis Wolf.
Roelly's calves are better then all these guys' calves.
Did Branch place 2nd at the O because of his calves or because of his back?

So: do calves really matter in your criticism/opinion?

Melvin won last night. No complaints about his calves?
Still think Roelly's calves are not good enough?

Well that's fortunately true, but as a "gym rat" & formal trainer/show visitor I see a lot of dumb, rude & narcissistic people in this subculture; not my cup of tea  ;)

From my observations, I think the Dutch (or maybe European) style is more practical based (read: amateuristic) while the US style is more scientific based (read: professional). Most gym visitors over here are both mental and physical lazy. They want a training/diet schedule that "works" (whatever you define that) and don't care about the rationale behind it  :-\

Interesting choose of exercises and good variation I see. Does Roellie also trains this way during his offseason?

A suggestion. Lying cable presses with a double small cable pulley burns my inner chest to the max.

offseason he has diffrent exercise

Why all the negativity! You can't go around the fact that this guy is talented. If you only look at the improvements he made in this past year alone! Off course it's not all him but also his coach and trainer sibil how obviously know how to stimulate his body the right way.

 ;D

Hahahaha... this clearly gives away who is behind `Trainingon` - i see we are trying to shill his coach and `sibil` and give them some exposure huh  ;D Aww , what happened Roelly stealing the spotlight ??

Top 3-4

What did you mean with:
" flyes flat (head of the bench back over hanging"?
And do you train only chest on these 2 days? Or do you combine the chest with other muscles on that day?

2 times a week diffrents exercise

1
bench press
dead press(bench press by the throat elbows slightly turned inwards)
incline press with dumbells
flyes flat (head of the bench back over hanging)
small press

2
incline machine (hammerstrenght)wide -hands horizontally /small-hands vertically
dead press
flyes low hand (look to the video)or cable cross
small bench press
dips

i hoop it is a little bit  to read

Lying on a flat bench with your head not on top of the bench surface but outside/above it.

You can tell dude isn't doing shrugs at the proper angle.  This will cost him 4 Olympia titles.
