Do any of you ride? I'm talking real enthusiasts here. Ain't nothing more better than pumping your legs up a huge hill while cars and motorcycles (only a pussy has a motor on their bike) pass you. Now that is the life. It builds character, legs and calves. The true hardcore among us know.

Btw, I haven't ridden a bike in years. And hell, they are more complicated today than some motorcycles.
I saw one show that showed how bad some expensive mass produced bikes were compared to one off specials for some timed "urban events". But serious bike riders got good quads and calves.

I was being sarcastic, and you know ND is gonna post the Paul Dillett on his bike pic.

I ride my bike to and from work everyday. Nothing like lane sharing in Cali to get you to places faster.

Nothing like wearing weird aerodynamic helmets, wrap around shades and bright red numbered shirts, only to hold up traffic, especially on curvy, hilly roads...the best roads for carving up in your car.

Actually I really want a Porsche Bike, saw one in a magazine. Looked good, well engineered, and well I'm a badgewhore...

The Porsche bike looks cheap compared to the Colnago Ferrari, the best and coolest bike in the world.

I thought I was nuts spending $1600 on a bike.

I bought a bike when I first move out to Santa Monica. I road it 3 times before giving it to the Salvation Army. The people out here are fucking asshole drivers. From tons of stupid Asian women yapping on their cell phones while driving a huge SUV that's 4 times taller than they are to uninsured Mexicans who will take off if they hit you. I've had 3 friends get hit while on their bikes, 2 of them the drivers took off after breaking one guys knee and crushing a girls hip.

Kal Szkalak is probably the most notable bodybuilder turned cyclist. I hear he's pretty good and still has a quality build.
Dan Duchaine was another one, started Pharaoh Recumbent bike company right before he died.

Never could adjust to bike riding myself, always had a numbness problem.

I just like to scare them with
my cars' wake when they ride
5 abreast on the roads.

They get real excited, especially
when you almost clip them.

Roads are for cars and motorcycles,
not bicycles.

They can go ride on a track.

Nah, mine is a 2008, the price has gone up since then. I got mine w/ the pedals, shoes, cages, and cyclocomputer all for around $3,000 which is in my opinion is not a lot of money at all for a bike.

I'm getting the Cervelo S2 next year. They start at $4,000 depending on with gruppo you get. If you get it was Dura-Ace 7900, some nice Zipp race wheels, Garmin GPS cyclocomputer, and carbon cages and carbon pedals, you're looking around $7,000 - $8,000 or more. That's my next bike!
