I freaking hope not.

Geeze Ron Paul & Schiff are the only ones I really respect out there right now and seek economic info from.

TA - you should watch thr shiff speech I posted.  You probably agree with at least 50% of what he says.

I like his point about wars, "Why are we fighting overseas when the biggest danger to our liberties is right here at home in DC"

I agree with that.

. It's sad that the Tea Parties got twisted like this. The Neo Con Republicans latched onto it and have turned it into gong show, propelling all sorts of wacky personalities into the forefront to sabotage all the hard work that has gone into it thus far. Meaningful discussions into things like, the Fed, sound money, etc...have dwindled into predictable tripe. Now they want to go for the heart of the original movement. What a shame.

The GOP absolutely HAS to work to destroy the tea party movement.  They can't control it, and it could peel away votes in 2010 and 2012.

In 2 days, palin declared herself the leader of this new party at their first convention, then told FOX taht she may run for president.  What else does the GOP need to hear?  A palin 2012 Tea party run would probably peel 3% to 7% of votes away in most states... and the GOP is well aware they'd be the ones losing their votes.  (You can bet most tea party members didn't vote Obama in 2008).

Repuppetcans like Dick Armey have turned the tea party protests from a grassroots movement into a for-profit platform for the GOP, and that's why some of them are turning on Libertarians like Dr. Paul. Screw them then.

Who needs a voice of sound reasoning and truth when you have a pretty face and manicured nails.  The average American is a fucking idiot.  Hence why Obama got elected, why Scott Brown got elected, why that whacky homo comedic senator got elected and why people like Ron Paul and Jesse Ventura will never become President.  America deserves exactly what's heading her way.  The problem is some of us have to deal with the repercussions of all the stupid embiciles around us.

Yep, couldn't have said it any better.  It's crazy how most people don't see how the Tea Party has totally changed.

Although, Palin was looking good during her speech!  ;D ;D

THey could have embraced Ron Paul, they would have instantly gotten a LOT of obama voters.

Instead they go with Palin.  not a big surprise.

Good point.  The left is in panic over the fact that 60% of the people hate their idiotic agenda.

Dude, it's pretty obvious that the Tea Parties have been taken over buy the neo nut jobs. All meaningfull discussions have turned into well, scribbled crib notes on hands. Think Ron Paul needs to write shit like "taxes" on his wrist and fakes checking the time when answering questions?

Even GOP conservative Ron Paul draws Tea Party opposition
12:00 AM CST on Sunday, February 7, 2010
By TOM BENNING / The Dallas Morning News
tbenning@dallasnews.com

WASHINGTON – Even anti-government icon Ron Paul can't escape the conservative "Tea Party" fervor stretching across the county.

Paul, the Gulf Coast congressman whose 2008 presidential run excited libertarians nationwide, even though he didn't get much traction overall, is considered by many to be the "father of the Tea Parties." But he has three opponents in the March Republican primary – more than he has faced in his past six primary campaigns combined.

All three have ties to the anti-tax Tea Party movement. And while Paul remains the odds-on favorite to win re-election in his district, the crowded primary highlights the potential conflict between Tea Party activists and a GOP hoping to ride their wave to electoral success this fall.

"The Tea Parties have awakened a lot of everyday people here and across America," said Tim Graney, one of Paul's opponents. "And Ron Paul is worried about getting swept up in the anti-incumbent wave as if he is some exception."

I am still waiting for Benny Buttface to explain how wonderful Crap & Tax, HCR, The Stim Bill, Civilian Trials for Foreign Terrorists, and the rest of the agenda is good for anyone other than the fringe kooks on the left.

When will "BILLY MINIMUM" post the proof that Rachel's report about Ron Paul has "no truth"?

When will "BILLY" stop changing the topic at hand and no longer have racist, homophobic, tear-filled meltdowns?
Stay tuned...

Where are the quotes from Tea Party people saying "WE WANT TO GET RID OF RON PAUL"?There are none!!!!He is getting challenged in a primary. Please,my question for you is,what evidence is there in that report that the tea party movement is trying to get rid of Ron Paul? There is none!!!Its a typical Maddow/Olbermann report, with no evidence, just rumor and opinion.Getting challenged by people in a primary is the American way,not forcing a guy out of a movement. This is Maddow at her best,no proof,no evidence just her left wing lunacy running wild...By the way,Maddow acts as though she supports Ron Paul who is against EVERYTHING SHE stands for.She is a joke.

Madcow and her little group of progressive communists/marxists/maoists/ and leftists are upset that the majority of people in this country are about to wage jihad on their agenda in November 2010.

When "BILLY" stops melting like ice cream on a warm summer day, he can tell us when and where Rachel stated that a Tea Bagging member said "We want to get rid of Ron Paul." Did he even watch the report that is the cause of his latest meltdown?

Does "BILLY MINIMUM" enjoy pulling quotes out of his anus like the strap-on his wife uses, or is he living in an alternate universe? You know, sort of like The Matrix?  :-\

Benny is still trying to figure out a reasonable reason why crap & tax, HCR, the Stimulus Bill, and civlian trials for foreign terrorists is a good thing and why 60% of the popuation dont want it.
