yes, but he was doing math aloud... said there were 3 states he hadn't visited, counted back and said 'fifty' instead of 'forty'.

Nobody really believes that obama thinks there are 57 states. Yes, he misspoke. But to obtain a law degree from havard, you know enough about state law to know there are 50.

Now, as far as hand notes... she actually USED THEM during the Q&A session.

hey, you're pointing out 5 mistakes in a lifetime of public speaking on their 2 parts.

Palin has delivered 10 times the gaffes in just 2 years

besides, the venom in her speech might be the most underlooked thing of all here. She's not a positive voice for change, in any manner. She's mean. I'm not sure how mocking people for wanting hope or change is a good thing. But hey, I'll let the 2008 eleciton results speak for themselves. Mccain led before she did the couric interview. Then we all know what happenend...

I dont have the space to put out the gaffes he had done just in the last two years.ALL of these were the last two years except the plagerism.Find ANYTHING Palin has said or done that comes close to plagerism or lying about the death of a spouse.Please,just find ANYTHING IN HER LIFE that she has done that comes within 500 miles of outright lying about the circumstances of a spouses death.YOU CANT!!!By the way,how about when Biden told people not to fly.Brilliant man!!!

The problem is that as they follow Alinski,they actually elevate Palin to almost legendary levels.Here is a fairly simple women who is THE TALK of the country including a target of the president.As they attack,her legend grows,her following grows and the left continues to slide down the mountain,even to the point that they now call anyone calling Obama "professor" a racist.They are desperate to discredit her,but here is a bet,she will be on the scene longer then Rahm Emanuel will.

Then she turned around and had notes on her hand... That's just pot / kettle.

It's not even that she had notes on her hand (minus the fact it's kind of trashy looking). It's about the fact she was making an issue out of something, then turned around and did the exact same thing, but in a more elementary and less professional manner.

Then she went to her "cheat sheet" during an open Q&A session.

How can anyone defend this?

Ummm,writing 5 words on your hand that YOU wrote is far different then reading a teleprompter ALL THE TIME using words OTHERS wrote.How can anyone think there is something wrong with this?

The reality is that she made a point which was absolutely pointless and stupid about a teleprompter and it has turned around and bit her in the ass because in the same speech she wrote notes on her FUCKING HAND like a 13 year old about to fail a test.
