I was going through the class profile for one of Stanford Law's (just as good a law school as Harvard/Yale) entering classes and it had people from all over the place. One was a surf instructor for 10 years. Another was a firefighter. There were people with PhDs and Masters in other fields. Hanging onto this notion that this guy is an idiot yet he was hand-picked and inserted into Harvard Law 25+ years ago for the sole purpose of becoming President down the road is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.
That's the point BF - there is no record whatsoever of extra-curricular stuff, but who cares? He is already president and screwing up horribly.
However, I do think it adds to the claim that others and myself have made that Obama is far from brilliant in any respect whatsoever. And that was the main claim that everyone made as to why he should be elected, which in fact has turned out to be a farce.
It just makes you guys look bad. This is petty bullshit that's nothing more than a distraction from the real issues that warrant discussion. And let's be honest. He may or may not be brilliant but if he did indeed finish in the top 10% of his class at Harvard, chances are he is a
very smart person.
You're in New York, why don't you drive up to Harvard one day and look for one of his papers in their law library? I was in and out of the Yale Law library quite a few times over the summer and I wasn't a law student there.
