John Mayer got emotional onstage Wednesday night in Nashville, hours after he tweeted an apology about using the N-word in a wide-ranging, oversharing Playboy interview.
Here is some of what he said in the 3-minutes clip posted by a fan and seen below.
"In the quest to be clever I completely forgot about the people that I love and the people that love me and I went, as I had begun to do, into a wormhole of selfishness and greediness and arrogance...
"Maybe I need to take a break from trying to be clever...
"I quit the soundbite game. I quit the media game. I'm out. I'm done. I just want to play my guitar to
whoever is around...
"I want to thank this band and I want to thank these fans for
standing by me."
In that 3 minute speech, he went in and did what he said he was going to stop doing, going in a wormhole of arrogance and greediness. Plus he has a persecution complex. He siad he percieved persecution which may or may not be
happening, but he thinks it's all the time. He is definitely insecure about himself, because he knows he just a twink, a freaking fire twink. A lot of todays men act just like women. And that's probably why Jessica dumped him. She probably thought she was dating another female. For fuck sakes, he said they had "napalm sex", that's something a female would say to their girlfriends.
