He asked for his conditional release because he was being taken out of pass-rushing situations in favor of a younger DE. The Dolphins want to get younger on defense, obviously. I guarantee Jason Taylor retires also. Porter is disgruntled and he wants to move on. He has value simply because of his experience level. Even as players get physically older, often times their alertness and awareness improve. That's why a lot of players continue to play well into their mid 30's. He's a veteran whom may players respect when he's their teammate.
He'd be great fit for the Ravens. I'd love to have him. The Ravens do not sack the quarterback well. Yes, they pressure and force the quarterback to make mistakes but they lack the ability to get the big sack on 3rd down. Bring it on, Porter. Get you ass in the purple and black!
