How are your lift numbers now that you've slimmed down?

I don't use them have no intrest in using them....i suspect a lot of the pros you see wearing them get them for free and are paid to be seen wearing them

I believe this to be the case. You see guys like that, cause they are paid to endorse them, so it makes sense to wear them.

I hit 253 this summer my numbers are WAY down but when you aint doing shit that happens. Im sitting bout 295 to 300 right now feel pretty comfy here. Doing a solid 500 raw and deadlifting in the high 5's been clean for almost a year now.

Yeah the wife didnt like me that small. So I went to go back upto 285 and kinda blew past it ooooppss Hahaha so now its back to a tight diet and keeping the shit to a minimum. I got some strength back and gained size from the heavy deads but my waist went from a 36 back to a 40 and that aint good!!!

My 13 yr old was in the gym with me one day and he knows I'm anti gloves (Im a powerlifter) Well one of our Bodybuilder guys was in there wearing gloves. He got done with his workout and came over to bullshit for a second. He took off his gloves and we were BS'n and my boy asked if he could see his gloves. So he handed his gloves to more, they were velcroed together. My boy then proceeded to take them and launch them like a frisbee across the gym and they landed bout 60 feet across the gym on the machine side. My boy then looks up at this guy who is like 275 and pretty damn solid and tells him "Gloves are for Pussies"  The look on the guys face was fucking priceless. He got owned by a 13 yr old powerlifter hahahaha!!!

Gloves are for Pussies, fags, twinks or whatever else you wanna call people who wear em!!!!

Straps on the other hand are really useful if you are going all out on rows and deadlifts
