I said very clearly that thune is my first choice, but if she gets the nomination I will volunteer to defeat Barry.  Same if almost anyone else gets the nod.

I happened to listen to his radio show, when he said something to this effect. Did you bother listing exactly WHY Savage feels that way?

His rationale is that America ALREADY HAS AN INEXPERIENCED, DON'T-KNOW-HIS-BEHIND-FROM-A-HOLE-IN-THE-GROUND entity in the White House. That's what he thinks of Obama. While Savage likes Palin, he feels that she's as green as the President is; so there's basically no difference between keeping Obama and electing Palin.

In fact, he referred to Palin as "Obama 2".

The thing is, the Dems can't pull the experience card, because they elected someone with EVEN LESS governing and executive experience than Palin.

As Newt Gingrich compared Palin and Obama, scolding a smart-alec MSNBC reporter in the process, "She's been a mayor; he hasn't. She's been a governor; he hasn't. She has plenty of executive experience; he doesn't."

And, the more Obama continues to crash and burn, the less the left can effectively try to bash Palin to excuses Obama's shortcomings.
