eh..thats gonna happen here soon...Switz ws just quicker to employ PPPoE technology...bringing Fast ethernet speeds (100mbps/full duplex) to the home...

but ya need to run either DSL or ATM...both r comparitively expensive

How do you like being it IT? I'm not sure which direction i'm going, engineer in IT or construction?
IT seems kinda boring, alot of programming, fixing codes etc. what do you think?

IT is NOT programming my man....i tried my hand at programming and its BORING and u have to have patience...I'm primarily a cisco guy ( www.cisco.com ) and i love it....at least to me its a lot of fun and the $ is more than you'll make anywhere unless you r a doctor etc...

So you first got a bachelor or masters degree in IT engineering and then went after the cisco certs?

no degree...nope nope no degree...

2 of the 3 CCIEs i know dont have a degree....

1 ws a programming student and he got his CCIE his sophmore yr and never looked back nor did he go back and finish up
the other ws/is in the army and got his CCIE and said F u to a degree

not for CCIEs they are not....plenty of govt work available here in the DC metro area...plus ALL the major ISPs have headquarters in the USA...guess who runs ISPs...well CCIEs! :)

and i DO plan to work in ghana...not a problem for me to go livwe in ghana for a yr..set up a company's infrastructure and come home with a cool mil or 2  :-\

also in dubai...same story...

also in saudi same story...and i intend to go there...if my girl lets me..
