I have a lot of favs.  Any of the Nog v. Fedor fights are up there.  My most recent favorite is Big Nog v.  Randy,  great fight.

for me, it was Sakuraba vs carlos newton at PRIDE 5 (off the top of my head, i'm guessing it was PRIDE 5)

it was a technical masterpiece even though, in retrospect, it's legitmacy may be in question given PRIDE's record of "working" fights for their poster boys

then again, I doubt Newton would go along with the fix

a mugging- that is how I explain it

the arona fight was the "official" end of sakuraba's career imho

arona, basically, dealt the proverbial "finishing blow" that wanderlei had set up

I think Sak should fight the winner of the Frank Shamrock/Pat Militech fight.  I hope Renzo beats Matt Hughes.

It is interesting to see that you know about Sakuraba and Carlos Newton!

Not the first you'd think judging by your appearance.

looks can be deceiving

one of my dreams as a kid was to fight in PANCRASE (back in the old "tights and Kickpad" day).

I remember after i saw the first Pancrase PPV (that SEG released after, i think, UFC 4) that i was in awe of that style.

I also remember my mom catching me watching it and totally questioning my sexuality (no joke)

actually, i remember first being enamored with MMA when i watched a UWFI ppv that was shown before SEG did the PANCRASE PPV

btw, i realize that PANCRASE and UWFI weren't exactly "MMA" but they were of the same ilk

sakuraba has the "Fighting spirit" but couldn't beat either of the two right now

in his prime though he would beat either of the two easily

Never could imagine you knew about PANCRASE!

That's what you get from judging a book from it's cover lol!

What happened that made you lose your dream?

Too much training / effort?

I got 1:00 through and had to stop because of that goddamned song.

I hate that song. It seems to be on every other boxing/mma, crossfit or military video on youtube.

In response to the OP's question, it looks like two drunk dudes fighting at the end of the night.

Frye / Takayama and Crocop VS Fedor was good battles as well.

Kimo VS Bob Sapp was HILARIOUS! :D

That was the first one that came to mind for me.

Takayama is 196 cm

Youtube has limited selection of music choices :-\
