here's my personal idea about how the near future should be arranged in the HW division:
i DONT think they should unify the titles immediately
i think winner of gonzaga/dos santos should face brock lesnar first in his return to the ufc
i think cane velasquez should face the winner of mir/carwin in an interim title defense
the titles would then be united after this initial series of matches
i think this would help to hype the title unification and make it into a more highly anticipated match that it would be otherwise. i dont really want to see mir vs lesnar III for his first match back, that rubber match has alot of potential but it could use a little more time to build hype
loser of gonzaga/dos santos should face winner of todd duffee/mike russow
loser of mir/carwin should face cro cop next, or an impressive TUF 10 HW
your thoughts? like i said, purely an idea so feel free to flame
