I say ethnic in the sense that both our ancestors are people who have lived in their countries for generations and fit into the typical look of citizens of both countries. I could be a Portuguese citizen of african origin in which case there would be no debate, hence I used the term ethnic to preclude misunderstandings (obviously it did not work)
