My fight
Great Job Okami. Not bad at all. Sure you're not Ray Leonard , but I saw a lot of good in there.
Your jab, good job, actually snapped his head back quite a few times with the power jab and you were angled when you threw it (not squared up to him) giving you the reach advantage during those jab exchanges. That pro was slow as eagle sh*t also.
the "pro" looked very uneasy I felt, and I just didn't see him as the ring general at all. He had no guard (you actually kept your hands up..another good habit to KEEP when boxing), the "pro" was all slow hooks, his jab was pathetic imo (for a pro)..he just wasn't crisp at all and had no flow. He'd get murdered vs one of our middleweight amateurs is what i'm saying.
I felt had you trained longer on conditioning (if time had permitted it)....you probably could have stopped him...seriously...he's that bad defensively and he seemed intimidated I felt (probably by your size )..but his chin was on a silver platter for a lopping over hand right as you fell into him (even as you were tired, lob the right over your head as you fall into your guy basically). He was hooking with his head straight up...big no no since his hand speed sucked.
You did very well..nothing to be ashamed of imo. If you ask me, when he saw you were cut, I felt he was relieved almost since he pointed it out so damn quickly to get the ref to jump in.
You have mad respect for getting in there, in his domain, fighting his fight.
