Isn't it obvious? I mean. You know those people and how the media falsely portrays how they act. 333 hates Obama so therefore he is a racist. The "they" reference could only mean one particular group.

333 was the first response in the thread

what chains is he talking about in reference to the present time?

Why?   It speaks for itself and is plainly obvious and clear to anyone honest enough to discuss the topic.

This is not a surprise. The NAACP is one of the most racist organizations out there. Their "hate whitey" mentality is revolting and ignorant. I don't see the value in their existence.

Blacks suffer from slave mentality under the Democratic Party
January 11, 2010
Kass

For the past few months, I have purposely tried to remain ignorant of political news with the exception of getting my breaking information from various Twitter accounts: BreakingNews, CNNbrk, jaketapper, and chucktodd. So when I saw that Sen. Harry Reid, a Democratic Party member and Senate Majority Leader, had made some ignorant statements about (then) presidential candidate Barack Obama being “light-skinned with no Negro dialect unless he wanted to have one,” I chose to initially ignore that too.

What I can’t ignore, however, is how black leadership (in the Democratic Party, of course) has been completely inconsistent on matters of race, playing politics to allow Sen. Reid to “stay in power.” This makes me angry.

Let’s go back a few years to 2002 to Trent Lott, Senate Majority Leader at the time, who said the country would have been better off if Dixiecrats had won the 1948 presidential election. Had that been the case, the civil rights movement could have been stunted due to the Dixiecrats’ support of racial segregation.

The calls for Lott’s resignation were loud and clear, and in my estimation, understandably so. But one must admit the calls for resignation were resounding because Lott was a Republican and Republicans are traditionally seen as the “racist party.” (White Republicans fear to say that so someone needs to say it for them.)

Let’s even fast-forward a few years to then-Senator Joe Biden’s comments about Obama. He said this:

“I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.”

I get what Biden was trying to say here but this could be taken in all sorts of wrong ways. Biden was minimally called out for it but he didn’t lose his senate seat, never needed to resign, but in fact, now serves as this country’s vice president. The Democratic Party did damage control and got black leaders to rally around Biden and forgive him for his sins. Had Biden been playing for the wrong team, he would have been vilified and calls for his resignation would have been adamant (which also, in my opinion, would have been unnecessary but understandable).

But let’s take a look at the remarks of Geraldine Ferraro, who endorsed and campaigned for Hillary Clinton, a junior senator and candidate for the Democratic presidential primary:

“If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman of any color, he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept.”

Shortly after Ms. Ferraro made these comments, she came under such attack from other Democrats and black leaders that she had to remove herself from Clinton’s campaign. Former President Bill Clinton also took the “racist” hit when he likened Obama’s 2008 campaign strategy in South Carolina to Jesse Jackson’s in 1984 and 1988. Ferraro and Bill Clinton were not called out solely because of what appeared to be racist remarks–they were called out because the Democratic leadership had thrown its weight behind Obama and it wanted to do everything in its power to get Hillary Clinton out of the way. It was all about politics; not race.

Now, Reid says something stupid in regard to Obama’s skin color and it’s pooh-poohed and overlooked. This line from an AP story throws me for a loop:

…nationally prominent Democrats ranging from Obama to the Rev. Al Sharpton have rallied to his side…

Rep. Barbara Lee, D-Calif., head of the Congressional Black Caucus, and Sharpton also said Reid did not deserve to lose his leadership position as a result of his comments. New York Gov. David Paterson, who is black, said Reid’s remarks were reprehensible and degrading, but he said Reid shouldn’t lose his leadership post as a result.

So it’s okay for Reid to say something like that without consequences? Granted, I am not one who is overly sensitive when it comes to remarks on race and wasn’t particularly offended offhand when I first heard Reid’s remarks, but I must note the double-standard here. Had this remark come from Sen. Mitch McConnell, the current Senate Republican Leader, Democrats would have demanded an instant resignation and black leaders would have ignored any apology McConnell offered, insisting he step down from his position of leadership.

It’s all bloody politics.

It’s unfortunate that blacks who choose to be conservatives or members of the Republican Party are called “Uncle Toms.” Here’s the definition of Uncle Tom if you’re not familiar with it:

Uncle Tom is a pejorative term for a black person who is perceived by others as behaving in a subservient manner to white authority figures, or as seeking ingratiation with them by way of unnecessary accommodation.

For example, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas isn’t acknowledged in black history books simply due to his affiliation with the Republican Party. Black Republicans are seen as traitors to their race and it is assumed that they align themselves with the Republican Party in an effort to seek inclusion into white acceptance.  It’s complete bullcrap perpetrated by the Democratic Party to keep black people, the party’s most loyal voters, under lockdown.

You see, I left the Democratic Party in December 2008, and as such, my eyes have since been opened to the way the Democratic Party mistreats and abuses the votes of Black people. The Democratic Party leadership doesn’t give two craps about the welfare of minorities–it only cares about using whatever is as its disposal to put–and keep–it in power.

During the 2008 presidential election, I was outspoken about my opposition to Barack Obama’s candidacy. As a black woman, I drew fire from my own race. One fellow black female even told me that I possessed “slave mentality.”

Now, more than a year later, I see that blacks who suck at the paps of the Democratic Party are truly the ones under slave mentality. The Democratic Party provides empty promises of power, protection, and welfare to black people in exchange for votes. Not only is being black about skin color; it’s also about your political affiliation. If you are a black person, it is assumed you are a Democrat; no questions asked.

Blacks are peer pressured into being Democrats and remaining faithful to the party:

“Don’t you stray too far from the plantation, now. Massa, wants you back, ya hear?”

Should any black person with a mind of her own stray from the plantation, Massa makes sure that her fellow black peers shame her into coming back. See, what the blacks still on the plantation want to remain largely ignorant of is that there is freedom and independence when you leave Massa’s plantation. Massa don’t control you; you control your own mind and your own self. When blacks on the plantation see Miss Independent stray and do well for herself, they belittle her and make her feel like crap because they’re jealous they’re still working for pennies on the dolla for Massa.

So when I see people like Al Sharpton and Barbara Lee extend “forgiveness” to Harry Reid, I know it’s not because they really want to; it’s because they got their orders from one of their many “Massas”–Democratic Party leadership that includes Nancy Pelosi, a white woman who desperately wants to stay in power.

This may be the most racist thing I’ve ever written but it needed to be said. I’m tired of Democrats taking advantage of the Republican Party being seen as “racist” while sweeping racism and racist-remarks from its own party under the carpet. And it angers me even more to see Sharpton and Lee shuffle off like Sambos at the biddings of white Democrats who are managing the strings. Michael Steele, the first black chairman of the Republican Party, said it more succinctly than me:

“There is this standard where the Democrats feel that they can say these things and they can apologize when it comes from the mouths of their own. But if it comes from anyone else, it’s racism,” Steele said.

How I long for the day when blacks finally break free from the slave chains of Democrats and escape from the Democratic Party plantation!

Notice of Disclosure: I currently am independent/hold no affiliation with any political party.

Just a friendly piece of advice; Asking someone who doesn't know what they are talking about to explain themselves is an effective way to make them look foolish. Asking someone who knows what they are talking about to explain themselves to you repeatedly makes you look foolish. Let's just chalk it up to you missing your mark in this thread and lets move it along shall we?

right?

Part black. Have some black cousins that HAD this same mentality. They voted for Obama. Now they are wishing they could take their votes back. Biggest myth out there is that the Democratic party looks out for black people. People need to study the origin of the Democratic party and question why they believe so much on government handouts and entitlement programs. Worst thing to do to a person is to make them dependent on government instead of having them work for their future.
