I bet Christian Bale would have made a bad ass Captain America. Granted, I know he did Batman, but he's probably one of the only actors who can pull off a superheroe.

Christian Bale got away with it because the Batman suit itself is muscular - so many actors have played Batman successfully over the years because they can effectively hide inside the suit.

Not taking anything away from Bale though - he's an awesome actor and definitely the best Batman.

Yeah, but Bale was in pretty good shape for the movie "American Psycho." I mean, he didn't look like a bodybuilder, but he did put on muscle for that movie. I am sure he can add more size than that if he wanted to.

Bale was actually pretty decent size for the batman movie

ofcourse not big in the minds of bodyuilders but good size compared to the average person.
